Hi every one! New member here.
Bought a Caddy 2012 1.6, 17000km, some week ago with promblems with the gearbox, "Stuck in gear six". Pulled the gearbox, now waiting for clutch tool kit so i can dismantle the gearbox and mechatronic, to check gear selecing forks amongst other things.
However, during my wait of the tools i measured up the clutch play (new clutch installed 1 year ago by a repair shop). And the play is about 1.65mm for the "outer" clutch (is that K1 or K2?, haven't got that stuck in my head yet), and as far as i can find it should be between 0.3 and 1 mm, at least for a new clutch?
So what I am wondering is, if the repair shop did not shim the clutch correctly, can I "re-shim" it now and in that case, where can i find a shim kit? Will do a complete measurement of the clutch when my tools arrive.
Thanks for the help!

Okeey so to reply to my own thread..
VW repair shops have them, small shim is about 4$ and large shim is about 40$. They don't sell them as a kit, but I ended up finding them on AliExpress for about 40$ for a kit.
