So i ran into an issue this morning where the van went into limp mode "p0202 injector circuit open cylinder 2"
It has 4 reconditioned injectors that are 1 year old (from before I purchased it)
I just checked the part number on the injectors and they say it's for a 1.5 dci engine ?
166004305R is the part number...
How bad is this ?

Re: 1.6 TDI 2011 injector issues
Here is one of mine to see the part numbers. This is a 2015 one which doesn't have the early failure issues which plagued the older models of injector (pre 2014 they were bad) as the design was changed in 2014. All part numbers are the same, there's a myth about the last letter being B for Bosch or S for Siemens but it's just a myth, all are Siemens and the letter is just a production code.
My van is a 2015 so they are all original injectors. The year code started in year 2000 as an A (4 digit code at the top) so mine is the letter O which is 2015, so OA22 means 2015 / Jan 22 which was when my van was built.
So a 2000 vehicle would start with A then a letter for the month (A to L) and then a date (1 to 31) - therefore yours should start with a K for 2011 if they were original ones from new.
I expect they may have fitted injectors from a Renault or a Ford as they also fit but are impossible to code in, since VCDS wouldn't recognise the injector coding values (shown on top of the injector) but will work well enough to get by, as VW ones are horrendously expensive and Ford ones are cheap. All are Siemens SIMOS units.
Uncoded injectors from Renault or Ford work fine, just won't run as smoothly as coded-in VW ones.

Re: 1.6 TDI 2011 injector issues
Not off the top of my head but I've heard about a few folk running Ford TDCi injectors with no issues except a bit of rough idle because they can't code them in and I've had a few of that engine model myself so I know they are definitely Siemens units. MHAuto get a lot of requests about coding Ford TDCi injectors to VW engines in Europe but I've never yet found a good solution to that. If I had, I'd have posted it up on here as the price they charge for our ones, even used, is criminal.
(One person mentioned their injector was from a Renault so I expect there's a certain HDi with the same injectors, although most french makes used Bosch as far as I knew. There are so many diesels between Citroen, Peugeot and Renault I expect something must use the same ones.)
Coding is always going to be the issue but my thoughts were, get a Ford one as an emergency spare (or two) and that would be a good get home solution and perhaps more. They are pennies compared to VW ones. The early. Ford focus TDCi units in the MK1 suffered the same failure rate as the early VW ones mind you.
One possible solution is to use a breaker called U-Pullit in Scotland or York UK, they charge £20 each for any injector but of course they are used ones you take out yourself and they don't mail order. So a bit of a trek for you mate lol.

Hahaaa
At the price of an Airfare to buy the 20pound part I could have purchased 2x OEM injectors !!
Maybe there is some merit in looking for an alternative solution to the expensive Caddy option ....

Re: 1.6 TDI 2011 injector issues
Problem seems to be solved.
I done a few things changing rocker cover seal , injector seals , fuel leak of pipe but ultimately I'm pretty sure the main fix was changing the connector on injector 2
