Hi,
I have a 2009 1.9TDI Swb Caddy van. I need to change the front slam panel and headlights.
As far as im aware ill need to remove both the front bumper and both front wings.
When removing the wings, does anyone know how to get the little triangle window out to be able access the top 2 bolts of the wing?
Many thanks,
J

Re: Caddy Slam Panel
If you want to take out the triangle window you will have to take off the a-piller trims inside the cab. They will pop off with a trim removal tool, they are attached with clips and to put them back on you align the clips with the holes and once everything is aligned just push back on.

Re: Caddy Slam Panel
Thank you!
I was hoping to have been able to change the slam panel without taking the wings off but i dont believe its possible.
I'll post an update here of how i get on.

Re: Caddy Slam Panel
UPDATE
Turns out you are able to change the slam panel without having to remove the wings!!! - Massive relief
It was simply:
Take the front bumper off
Remove headlights
Remove crash bar
Support the radiator with few bungee cords attatched to bonnet (with additional support underneath incase these fail)
Remove and change the slam panel
Then do the above steps in reverse^
