Ok so slow couple of weeks on the van build.

Updates:

Almost finished the full sound deaden - front doors, rear roof, tailgate, rear sides all done. Just the floor in the rear and the roof in the front and we’re done.




Picked up some AMG wheels cheap on Facebook, had them coated and they look 100% better.



Ran power for the front end - just from engine bay to here:



Started wrapping the plastics in Alcantara - all will be done again now I’ve learnt how to do it properly - not happy with these now but gives you an idea. Also made custom tweeter mounts for the sail panels and wrapped in the same:







Wheels will be going on hopefully this week when I find 10 minutes.

Nice job on everything.

Just a quick Q, I’ve been looking for Alcantara to wrap my pillar trims, do you have a link to your stuff and what was the price?
I’ve found stuff with a 3mm foam scrim backing, do I need it or just plain Alcantara?

Started redoing the interior trim with new 4 way stretch as wasn’t happy with the finish first Tim round…

Should be a lovely work van when it’s finished.

Coilovers and wheels now fitted. They’re going to powder coating early this week.

New bumper doesn’t fit so ordering a replacement shortly.
