Hi guys,

Does anyone with a MK5 know where the PR code sticker is?

I have had a look behind the glove box and other cubby holes, behind the fuse box cover in the engine bay and can't seem to find it, and as we no longer get a service book where it sometimes is, there isn't one in any of the other books either.

I've seen PR decoders online that use your VIN. I can also try putting your VIN into the parts database as that brings up a list of your factory fitted options. Just send me a pm with the number and I'll see if it works.

The vin is the chassis number that will be on your v5c or the windscreen. I should be able to use that to get the build data from the parts database.

A PR code is a production code given to each piece of equipment installed in your vehicle.
PR Codes contain three characters comprising of letters and numbers. An example of a PR code is 1KY and it may refer to the vehicle’s brakes. Other examples of parts with PR codes include paint colour, engine, and transmission.
