Hi.
Sorry if posting in wrong forum but don't have a permissions yet to post elsewhere.
I do own a 2009 2k caddy with 2.0 SDI engine which is ex bt fleet van.
As you can imagine having the wind from the back and going down hill I would normally take over that Nissan Micra but someone decided to put a speed limiter so can't even do that.
Now after reading some post I have learned that there are two ways of putting limiter depending on vans age. One is software and the other physical device.
Does anybody know if 2009 vans were software modified or have a physical device somewhere. If so where is it, how does it look like and how to get rid of it please?

If it's 2009 it will need coding out with vcds or obdelven.

you can get them coded out. the guy I use for such things can do it, not sure on price though.

It shouldn't take long so it should be fairly cheap.

I had an SDi caddy years ago, 0-60 was three weeks in writing lol. After removing the limiter, it might still not catch that Micra ;)

Bloody reliable old bus though.
