I have removed the roof bar bolts ptfe tape and silicon on them but I’m still getting water where the passenger side handle above the door and the roof pocket gets water in too I just can’t work out where it’s coming from could it be the windscreen ?
Or maybe the sliding door somehow ??
It’s starting to do my head in and I can’t carpet the van I still I find the leak

leaks are always a pita, I had similar a few years ago and it was my screen. Id recommend a good hose pipe, with someone sat inside to maybe help see where the water is coming in from.

Good shout I’ll grab someone at work today haha it’s doing my head in as I can’t move forward at the min with carpet and trimming the a pillars

I'd probably remove the front headliner and tray to see where it's getting in too, will make it easier to see.

I think it’s the windscreen but was abit mythed as to how it’s coming out from where the handle is but then I park on a slight slope haha
I’ve stuck some silicon in the gap and it’s seems to work u till I replace my screen as it has a crack but for now fingers crossed it’s worked

That’s after driving it so it fills up the corner bit of the upper tray and then leaks everywhere it’s coming off today it has to I got to find this leak it’s raining all week

The tray is easy to remove, but do the screw under the courtesy light first, then the handles at the ends. Needs two folk to support one end while removing the other.(Last end off)

Seriously it's probably the front roof rack fixing as they are hollow, the captive nut is not blind, it's a through nut so any failure to seal properly will result in water ingress. It sits above the handles of the tray at each side.

If you don't have a roof rack or rails, stick a good blob of silicone (or a thick silicone grease) in the holes and thread a bolt in, M8 stainless dome head is best (hex drive) with a rubber washer under it.

Ello mate I did seal up the roof rack bolts but the rubber grommet was a bit soft maybe I haven’t used enough I’ve just Orderd 6 new ones from eBay what I have noticed tho is outside on flat ground I have no water and if I park outside my flat it leans to the right so towards the driver and it then lets water
I got a quote for a windscreen today as it is cracks on the drivers side view 255 included vat and fitting seems about right I think

If you have windscreen cover on your insurance, which usually all do, it's a £50-£100 excess and Autoglass do it for you, no need to even contact the insurer and it doesn't affect NCB mate.

We've had a few done over the years and still have 18 years NCB.

One tip if you go this route, go to them at a depot instead of doing it at the house, they have better gear there and do it while you wait. You get a better result than the mobile vans sometimes.

Also could hire a vapour / smoke machine, stick it in the van and let it rip, you'll see where it comes out.
