Recently got myself a 2011 caddy panel van with a blown 1.6tdi
Picked up a 2.0cr 2011 touran and did a complete swap including wiring loom with additional features like sat nav ac and auxiliary heater got everything working except locking on the sliding door on the touran bcm
Noticed missing pins for the sliding door locking system that I spliced into the new touran loom with the touran bcm still no joy so decided to put the original bcm from the caddy back in and hey presto the locking all works. However I then lost front fogs as the pins wasn’t there for the fogs although the wiring diagram showed the pinout the same between the two. So I put the pins in on the bcm thinking that may work and recoded with the same as I had for the touran but still no joy.
I then got another caddy bcm and again put the pins into the bcm for the front fogs lights and re coded it to the same as the touran was now using. Central locking all working again like the previous caddy bcm but again no front fog lamps along with bulb warning and also no drl
Any suggestions which bcm I shout go for for the fog lights aux heater ect that I got with the touran for my caddy?
